(Valls, Alt Camp, 15 novembre 1885 – Barcelona, 1959)
Escriptor. Féu estudis eclesiàstics, inacabats, a Tarragona. Es llicencià en filosofia i lletres a Barcelona, on s’hi establí per dedicar-se a l’ensenyament.
Col·laborà a “La Crònica de Valls” i a “Pàtria”.
Sobresortí com a llatinista. És autor de traduccions: Tibul fou feta en col·laboració amb Joan Mínguez i per a la Fundació Bernat Metge, amb extensa introducció escrita per Magrinyà.
Poeta postsimbolista, publicà Esteles de llum (1920) i El meu hort ha florit (1927).
